My kidney disease from MM was Acute 3 weeks ago and is very slowly getting better. Due to Velcade

I think that once you're on treatment for awhile, it will improve. I had kidney damage when diagnosed, and it went away pretty quickly.

My kidneys were working at 20% when I was diagnosed with stage 3 MM. After 3 months of chemotherapy my kidney function is at 60+% and steady. My doctor says my kidneys are "normal".

My wife has not had any kidney issues. Hope she never does but will be more aware there might be trouble down the road. Good luck…hugs your way…

I do drink a lot of water and also pee often. Do you have a diet like not eating much protein
