I am 4 years post transplant. I still tire easily and go to bed early, but I think the fatigue is from the medications we have to take. Exercise really helps combat fatigue💓
I had my sctJan 2016 and I have never regained my energy. I usually take a nap everyday and go to bed between 8 and 10 every night. I am up by 6 but that is the best time of the day for me.
They all it a new normal and I really hate that term. I want my old normal back.
But at least I have been in remission since my sct.
Well good question. I think everyone responds differently after the transplant so I don't believe there's a definitive answer. I had my SCT 13 months ago and I still don't have 100% of my energy back and probably never will. I still become tired around 8 or 9 PM and become tired during the day after doing just a few chores but again, that's me. Everyone is different so there isn't a standard answer. Sorry.
Take care.
I’m 1 year 1 month post SCT. It’s a battle. I’d say for me it was three months or so. That’s when I started driving locally. However I’m not my Old self. Starting PT tomorrow to start strength training. I tried it myself and hurt my back very bad. Becoming my New Self. Eat right, rest and excercise.
