Use Of Revlimid
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been on Revlimid for about two years and lately have been experiencing bouts of diarrhea. Is this common occurrence?

I started taking the drug at 10 mg and it floored me. Reduced drug level to 5mg and developed body rash. Presently on 2.5mg

Cost of drug actually increased as the dosage was reduced????

Seriously Snuffy? Don’t know why the cost would increase. I haven’t heard anything about a generic. My husband used to take 5 mg of Revlimed. He was have a lot of diarrhea but I can’t remember if it was from Revlimed. He’s currently on Pomalyst but doc took him off for one month.

Snuffy711, yes diarrhea is extremely common with Revlimid. Lots of people use over the counter Immodium. Questran (Cholestyramine) is a prescription powder, usually used for cholesterol, you can't take it within two hours of other drugs. Or Lomotil is also a prescription. Makes no sense that the cost increased with the lower dosage😖
