Talk to your pharmacist and they will give you a suggestion. There is an over the counter drug I used when I was constipated call Senakot x. It is all natural .
Eat high fiber food too.
Thinking of you!Nancy

Wendell1970, Hi, I donโ€™t like Iron supplements either, but sometimes they are necessary. Google, Iron Rich Foods and eat as many of those foods as you can for every meal, you maybe able to turn your Anemia around before seeing your Specialist. Praying ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™. Have a good night! Love, Marcia ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒป.

I take a stool softener every time I take my pain meds and it works really good but if I do get constipated I take Restoralax which was recommended by my Dr. and it straightens it out in a day or two plus itโ€™s over the counter. You have too be careful what you eat because some foods will constipated more than others.

Hi Wendell, the doctor is probably going to recommend iron supplements, go ahead and get a head start. They can cause constipation so drink plenty fluids.
