I was diagnosed with MM in 2014. Prior to that in 2007 I had a fall and crushed my spinal cord leaving me partially paralyzed and with a lot nerve pain and damage. Because of this I often have difficulty differentiating which of my many symptoms are caused by the MM or the spinal cord injury. I also wonder if it might be a side affect of the Revlimid. Any feed back on similar experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!
I have. Toward the end of my 2 weeks on Pomalyst each month mine feel like they have concrete blocks on them and so tired. By time I get to feeling a little better during my 2 weeks off the Pomalyst it's time to go back on. Check your ferritin in your iron.
Jon, I only have leg fatigue now with my fractured/surgically repaired femur, but you have had a spinal cord injury, the nerves run down the leg and fatigue is probably the least of it. Nerve pain, circulation, swelling must also be issues. Most Myeloma patients have Peripheral Neuropathy from the Myeloma and the medications we are on,and along with it comes restless leg syndrome. You have many factors going against you but the fact is, the it isn’t going away so do what you can for the symptoms you have; exercise, massage, acupuncture,
electrical stimulation, medications, etc. It may just help the fatigue! Love, Marcia 🌼🌸🌻
Revlimid has my arch in one foot numb but I have no pain. Hope you feel better, we all are just going through, and passing through, our various trials, let’s keep the faith, and take one day at a time trusting God for our healing.
My legs also feel heavy at times, it seems to be, when I’m coming down from the Dex.
Lately My legs feel heavy
May be due to my Lambda going up and My MM becoming active
You may want to check blood work
