Steriods
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question ๐Ÿ’ญ

Just wondering how bad the affects of the steroids are? Was there a large amount of weight gain? Does it make you unbearably moody?

Jennie, It affects people differently but yes those extreme side effects are possible. Most people are energetic, get a lot done, restless, canโ€™t sleep for a day or two then you get a crash, where you will catch up on sleep. The steroids make the Myeloma drugs more effective! Hope this helps! Love, Marcia ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒป

I gained about 20 pounds but had fun buying new clothes that fit. I have lost 10 pounds this year by eating less carbs and sweets.
