Blood Sugar
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

My blood sugar has been high at 128. I have cut way back on sugar and carbohydrates. I would also like to try a supplement.
Can anyone share what has worked best for them? There are so many to choose from. Thanks!

Mary, remember that it is important to know if this fasting or non-fasting glucose level. Fasting should be 99 or less. Non-fasting can be much higher than this depending on lots including what you have recently eaten. Cinnamon extract is a very safe supplement for blood sugar support. Others that I have tried with no bad side effects include: Gymnema Sylvestre Leaf, Momordica (Bitter Melon)
capsules, and Berberine.

My husbands Oncologist told him to take only specific vitamins and supplements and depending on which treatments she was doing would take some or all of them away and later tell hum what to take next. Somethings interfere with the treatments.

Mary, Please check with your doctor before changing your diet or adding any supplements. DavidBliss is great at Nutritional Advice. He has done a lot of research and knows a good deal about supplements. Have a great day! Love, Marcia 🌸🌻🌼
