Hi Janin, Certainly, a good diet would help but with our disease, that interferes with the production of normal white blood cells. Getting rid of the Myeloma cells gives the WBC’s a chance to replicate normally. That is done by treatment with Myeloma Cells and Stem Cell Transplants. They do use IVIG to increase they Immune System and Nuprigen Injections to boost the White blood Counts when a person is severely nuprigenic. Love, Marcia 🌸

Lean meats like poultry can raise your white blood cell count. I also snack on BHU vegan protein bars for a treat. They have 11 grams of protein and low sugar. The peanut butter chocolate chip is awesome. My WBC level has gone up since I have increased my protein.

Thank you so much for good information. I was recently diagnosed with neutropenia and everything I thought I was doing right with nutrition was wrong. I am getting a handle on that and it was a temporary thing as a side effect of one of my chemo drugs. We will get it right eventually.
