I have been diagnosed with light chain multiple myeloma. I am looking forward to meet fellow team members with the same diagnose to exchange experience.

So happy to hear that you have recovered from a hemoglobin of 7. I am at 11.3 and still worried , it was 13.9, prior to my diagnosis mm.
I am on antidepressants and have no ambition or energy,. I’m always putting off walking and exercise , mostly due to arthritis ,I am 75.
Liz - Welcome. MM is so different for so many people. The medicines available today give us all hope for longer, productive lives. There are many sites to help answer your question. In my case, I had a standard treatment of RVD (Revlimid, Velcade, Dexamethasone) followed by a Stem Cell Transplant (sct). I stayed on the cycles of RVD for some time and now, 34 months post sct, I take a maintenance dose of R and enjoy life!
I have light chains also and I am 85 diagnosed 4 years ago. Currently taking darzalex and dexamethasone.
I have lite chain
Hi Liz. Have same diagnosis as you. I am on Revlamid and MethyPrednisone. Also exgeva for bones injection every month and an injection every two weeks of Procrit until my count goes over 11. It finally was @ 11.2 last week so no injection My problem is my legs are very weak and mornings I feel so tired but as day goes on I feel better. Originally I was on Dexamethoson once a week and I felt great that day. But since it only lasted one day my Dr. switched to Prednisone which is taken as 5 every other day. Still waiting to see if this works as well as Dex.Let me know how you are doing
