New BMB Pain Weeks After Procedure
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been having new discomfort in my BMB (had on 9/10) area for the last few days that I've not had before. I have been sleeping in my bed for half the night now after sleeping in a very soft recliner chair for the last couple months. Sometimes find myself on back, but usually on side. Also, I've been riding in my vehicle which has more of a bucket type seat instead of the pick up bench seat for the past couple days. Betty, I have pain for 6 months from a bone marrow biopsy. Not bad just irritating. They nicked a nerve and it caused some pain down the back of my leg. Anyway , yours isn't bleeding? No hematoma? Email the provider and see if it's okay to put heat or ice. It will eventually stop😇💕

Martha, you may very well be on to something here. I do have problems in that area also. Stenosis is one of them. My SI joint is always very sore on the same side my BMB was on. When I was seeing my chiropractor, he touched that spot and it was always very tender there. The pain has gone away, but now I feel pressure there at times. I also sleep on my side, stomach and back throughout the night. I bet this is the reason I had discomfort. Thank you very much for your post!
