'Has anyone had issues, with pain in all your joints after about 8 or 9 months after transplant?...
LynneGaines, I believe as we get older the joint pain can be caused by arthritis. We want to name everything on Myeloma or the treatments but getting older can be the culprit too. Talk with your doctor! Love, Marcia 🌸
It took me 1.5 years too recover after the first SCT and 1 year after the second and will never be 100% again so you just have too accept your new normal and do what you can plus rest when your tired. If I do too much I am flat for a couple days afterward. I have joint pain in my upper arms, hips, legs and back so I take morphine twice a day plus T3’s and Tylenol muscle and body ache but have too have rest periods between jobs. I also have leg weakness and balance issues. Isn’t this fun.
Lynne, not in joints, but 5 months after I am still battling significant muscle soreness and weakness and balance issues. I think SCTs affect most of us in some way. I am hearing it can sometimes take a year to fully recover.
I'm two years out and I'm starting to have some joint pain. I'm on Pomalyst and Darzalex, dex. I had really bad joint pain after mmr shot, but that got better. Not sure if it's myeloma, the meds or just arthritis. Going to see if losing weight will helps. Hope yours get better👼💕
I'm on so my drugs it's hard to tell what's causing what or if its the Myeloma??
