PAIN! Pain All Over Body Deep In The Bones.
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

What can help relieve this Deep aching pain inside body that comes and goes and there is no position that will relieve it. I have no lesions and PET was clear? What is causing this pain. Hip joints, femur bone, arms, hands, wrists, lower back. It’s a deep aching throbbing pain that usually starts in the middle of the night but lately I’ve been getting it more and more during the day as well.

Lolobro, Have you tried Advil or Alieve. Perhaps you have some arthritis. Talk with your doctor! Love, Marcia 🌸

Am catching up after running around the past year; don’t know if you are still on this website. Have you had any improvement? Not sure if my answers are relevant anymore, but CBD oil helps with my bone aches...it was worse after the ASCT for awhile but calmed down. Also, plain ole Epsom salt bath helps relax me and if I don’t have time, I use a scoop of the salts with my own oil, coconut or jojoba. Not perfect (messy tub) I also supplement with Calcium, Magnesium and Vitamin D. The higher the humidity, the more I ache.

Yes ask your Dr for pain meds. There is no reason for anyone to suffer. Don't ask just tell your Dr you need help with your pain.

Greg had really bad pains in the beginning. He was given oxycodon at first, but he no longer takes any pain medications. Zometa every 3 months seems to be good, and for his neuropathy, he now only takes 1 Lyrica a day, and his neem and epsom soak seems to have helped a lot.
It takes patience, but everything will be fine. This group gave us strength, and a lot of helpful information. Most of all, we are praying for each other.

I didn't react well to Neupogen. Came down with a fever after the cell harvest and had to go into the hospital for 2 days. They could find no infection...but I know what it was. Whatever the discomforts of the drugs like Neupogen or Dexamethasone, the ASCT process, I am grateful that it was temporary and hopefully, it will extend my life.
