My wife always had normal blood pressure
Now it’s 150/100
Is it multiple myeloma related ? Thanks
If she is taking dexamethasone it is a steroid and they will elevate your blood pressure
I really don't sweetie but definitely a question for her dr or nurse. I have had a little trouble with mine going high but they just had me take a medication for a month and it straightened it up . Good luck guys..hope you get some good news . Nice to meet you. Goodnight

My husband also has always had normal blood pressure, but recently we have struggled getting Lisinoprol dosage right to get the bp to stabilize. We started with a 20 mg dose, and have gradually had it reduced to 5 mg and taking it at night before bedtime seems to work well. I think it must be mm related, even though our oncologist questions that.
My blood pressure was always great and has increased to 150/77 recently. I don't think it is reason for concern but have led my medical people know. Tell her to take a deep breath, hold it for four seconds and slowly let it out. Do this three times before taking the BP. It calms you and lowers it. I think mine was caused by IVIG infusion but am not sure. Always communcate with your medical team is my best advice.
