No kidney failure with these same drugs with 4 months of treatment. Brought cancer cells in bone marrow from 70 to 30% fairly fast.

You mean tumor lysis syndrone? Usually you need to be in the hospital on fluids. Did they tell you to drink loads?? This is bad cause the dead cancer cells are clogging you kidneys😥 But it's also good cause your probably having a great response to the chemo👍

The doctors have not told me anything yet. The "issue" is sort of moving around between three disciplines (urology, Nephrology and oncology). The first course showed a spectacular positive result in the decline of M-Proteïne. So your explanation might be right. Could you supply a link that corroborates with your suggestion?

I gave not had that happen to me but I have heard of it happening. It is when the Myeloma Cells die too fast and clog the kidneys and cause problems. What is your doctor telling you? Love, Marcia
